Our health care services will be designed to help ensure that our community will thrive.

I have lived with my family for over 40 years in Mission and have taken an active interest in my community I am retired after 30 years as an RN in the hospital and several clinics.
I have lived in Mission for 47 years and am invested in the health and well being of the community. I am a retired registered nurse who worked at Mission Memorial Hospital and I also taught at the University of the Fraser Valley in the Bachelor of Nursing Program.
Retired Operations Manager, Community Volunteer, Rotarian, Freeman. Lived in Mission Community since 1947, served on Boards; Mission Community Foundation, Fraser River Heritage Park Association, Welton Towers & MATH.
Being a personal trainer/gym owner has influenced my outlook on the importance of healthcare. Every community deserves the best services possible and the City of Mission is of no exception. I am excited to be a part of this adventure!

To ensure that residents of the City of Mission and Area have access to timely, essential health care services.
Work with Ministry of Health & Fraser Health Authority to maintain a sustainable and continuously improving health care model with Mission Memorial Hospital, physicians, & community care providers.
To ensure equitable access to health care regardless of an individual’s income, level of ability, age, cultural heritage, gender, sexual orientation, or geographical location.
To collaborate with community partners to address local health concerns, health care provider recruitment and retention issues, and service levels relative to personnel, equipment, and program delivery.
Incorporated in 1892, Mission BC is located in Central Fraser Valley. The City of Mission is part of the Fraser Valley Regional District (FVRD) and has a population of 38,833 (2016). Mission is also the furthest stop East for the West Coast Express commuter train, which began running between Vancouver Waterfront Centre and Mission City Station in 1995. The West Coast Express operates 5 trains on weekdays between 5:25 and 7:25 in the mornings and between 3:50 and 6:20 in the evenings. Mission is also a vibrant manufacturing district and holds the only municipal tree farm licence in BC. Although the local School District #75 is the city’s largest employer, the surrounding area is also home to more than 95 farms including commercial agriculture and hobby farms. Notable annual events include the Fraser River Salmon Run, the Bald Eagle Festival, the Mission Folk Festival, the Children’s Festival, and multiple auto racing events at Mission Raceway Park.
