I have lived in Mission for 47 years and am invested in the health and well being of the community. I am a retired registered nurse who worked at Mission Memorial Hospital and I also taught at the University of the Fraser Valley in the Bachelor of Nursing Program.

Stacey serves as the Directory of Economic Development for the District of Mission. He has an extensive community leadership and volunteer experience including the Mission Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of Mission, the Kinsmen Club of Mission, and Community Futures, North Fraser. He currently serves on the board and is the former board chair of Prospera Credit Union.

Incorporated in 1892, Mission BC is located in Central Fraser Valley. The City of Mission is part of the Fraser Valley Regional District (FVRD) and has a population of 38,833 (2016). Mission is also the furthest stop East for the West Coast Express commuter train, which began running between Vancouver Waterfront Centre and Mission City Station in 1995. The West Coast Express operates 5 trains on weekdays between 5:25 and 7:25 in the mornings and between 3:50 and 6:20 in the evenings. Mission is also a vibrant manufacturing district and holds the only municipal tree farm licence in BC. Although the local School District #75 is the city’s largest employer, the surrounding area is also home to more than 95 farms including commercial agriculture and hobby farms. Notable annual events include the Fraser River Salmon Run, the Bald Eagle Festival, the Mission Folk Festival, the Children’s Festival, and multiple auto racing events at Mission Raceway Park.
