We thought it would be a good idea to do some posts on our healthcare history here in Mission. For our first post let’s begin at the beginning!

At the Mission Memorial Hospital

• Physician’s shared responsibilities.
• GP’s were involved with a little bit of everything!
• This included: Office work, surgery, obstetrics, anesthesia, emergency.
• The hospital was governed by a local hospital board of trustees who were respected citizens of the community.
• Hospital’s CEO’s, including Neville Cox and Randy Wong. They were hired by this board
